“I went to Brunch by the Lake in April and it was hella fun. It was the second event and they’re just starting off, but the space is dope and the drinks are FIRE. Justin is a super talented bartender (and I was one for ten years). He makes his own delicious syrups, and his flavors & measurements are on point. I talked to him about doing some artist pop-ups over the summer featuring local artists and he’s down. It’s about to be poppin!”

“My husband and I attended two events here, a private birthday party and also OakCali Bar’s monthly event Brunch By the Lake.

OakCali Cafe & Bar are a perfect pair. The food is healthy and delicious (I love the avocado toast), and the cocktails are great. My husband doesn’t drink alcohol when he’s training, but loves Justin’s mocktails – great flavor and not overly sweet or too sugary. We’ll be back!”

“I attended my friend’s birthday party at OakCali Bar and it was dope! The drinks are bomb and strong, Justin had me going. The food is great too. I hadn’t had Ethiopian food before; I got the kitfo special (chopped beef), and it hit the spot! Justin was a great host, keeping our drinks full, getting us going with music playing all the jams, and making sure we all had a great time. Next time I’m in Oakland, I’ll definitely roll through again.”
